Market Day
There is still time to get your November Market Day order in. November Market Day orders and pie order forms are due November 4. Order on-line until NOON on Monday, November 10. With your support, we're looking forward to reaching our goal to sell 500 desserts. Market Day pick up is Friday, November 14 at Pontiac Bible Church from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.
Usborne Book Fair
Thank you to everyone for your support of the Usborne Book Fair. Because of your participation, our staff was able to spend $600.00 worth of books for our classrooms. Your generosity is much appreciated. Thank you also to those parents who purchased books and donated them to the classrooms.
Eighth Grade Explore Test
The 8th grade students will be taking the Explore Test on Thursday, November 6. The Explore test is used by high schools to place students in classes. Information about this test was sent home with each 8th grade student. If you have any questions about this test, please call the school office.
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
Our Student Council is leading the student body in a service project to bless needy children in other parts of the world. Our students are preparing shoebox Christmas packages for boys and girls in other parts of world who may not know Jesus. Our packages need to be finished by Friday, November 21 so that Samaritan's Purse can distribute the shoeboxes in time for Christmas. Information about how to pack these shoeboxes has already been sent home with the students. Prayer guides have also been sent home. For more information about Operation Christmas Child, go to

Change in Christmas Concert Date
Due to some unforeseen circumstances, the date for the annual Christmas Concert has been changed. The Christmas Concert will take place on Friday, December 5 at 7:00 pm. The preschoolers will be participating in the Christmas program on that evening as well, which is also a change. If you have notified grandparents and relatives of the date of the Christmas Concert, please notify them of the change.
Christmas Cookie Walk
The PCS Annual Christmas Cookie Walk will be held on Saturday, December 6, 9am -12 noon, in the Fellowship Hall at Pontiac Bible Church. Homemade cookies and candies should be brought in disposable containers and dropped off at the school the night of the Christmas Concert on December 5th or at the PBC Fellowship Hall kitchen by 9 am on Saturday, December 6th.
Mobile Dentist Forms
Anyone interested in participating in the Mobile Dentist Program at the school on November 11, please submit the provided form to the school office.
Cold Weather Recess
Please make sure that your student is dressed appropriately for the colder weather. Our students still go outside for recess in the colder months unless the temperature is extremely cold.
